Lauren Jenkins (Cicco)

Soccer and Coaching Experience

She led Boston University to the NCAA Tournament after helping capture America East Conference championships in 2001 and 2003, captaining the Terriers as a senior in 2004.

After graduating, she served in strength and conditioning roles at Harvard University and BU.

From 2006 to 2008, she played for the Boston Aztec of the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL), a national amateur soccer league.

A certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS), she is an assistant coach in the Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association’s Olympic Development Program, a role she has held since 2009.

In 2001, she was named the Gatorade Rhode Island Player of the Year, the top honor for the state’s high school players.

Ciccone-Jenkins earned her master’s degree from BU in 2008 in exercise science after earning her bachelor’s degree in 2005 in anatomy & physiology.
