Leadership Workshop

This year we have the pleasure of having Maren Rojas as our Leadership Workshop Educator. Maren works as the Director of Sport at Edgework Consulting, a business designed to give athletic teams the proper tools to succeed both on and off the field. Maren played soccer for the College of William and Mary in the 1990s. During her playing career, Maren made it to the NCAA Women’s Soccer Elite 8 during her senior year. She later went on to coach the women’s soccer team at the University of Virginia where she won the 2004 ACC Championship.

South Shore Select will be partnering up with Edgework Consulting to run a leadership workshop for our girls on Thursdays this Spring. We are excited to offer our girls a unique opportunity to complete a four part leadership training series exclusive to our players.

Over the 4 weeks, players will learn the following:

An increased understanding of leadership qualities and styles to further develop strengths as a leader.
A toolkit to build confidence and resiliency.
Effective communication & accountability skills for emerging leaders to use on and off the field.
