Select and ECNL

The Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) was established in 2009 to transform the landscape of youth soccer in the U.S. The ECNL’s rise to prominence is attributed to its innovative approach, driven by collaboration among youth soccer leaders nationwide, emphasizing member clubs’ needs and constantly seeking to enhance the youth soccer experience.

It has significantly impacted player development, with many players advancing to collegiate, professional, and national teams.

The ECNL aims to “Raise the Game” by improving standards and experiences across all youth soccer aspects through its four primary platforms: Competition, Player Identification, Club and Coach Development, and Health & Education Resources.

WHY SELECT?  While being a part of the club soccer community for 10 years, SELECT has and always will be the top of the top when creating a positive environment for young players to grow on and off the field. As the Girls ECNL Director, our goal is to continue to develop year in and year out against the best and compete for national championships.  With many exciting opportunities we can provide to our players, the future is certainly bright for these young athletes at SELECT.

Ally Sentnor and Lily Reale have been working hard with the U.S. U17 National Team and are striving to make the qualifying roster that will be named later in the spring of 2020.  Both players earned All-American honors this past January at the United Soccer Coaches Convention.  Congrats to well earned national honors!

Sophie Reale and Sophie Rosas traveled to Spain with the 2004 US Youth Soccer East Region ODP team this past year.  They beat RCD Espanyol 3-2, Vilafranca FC 3-0, and Seagull CF 5-1.  Both players are on the Select 04DA squad, super proud to have them represent the Club overseas!
